Geronimo and Me |
Soon after, we purchased another mixed-breed chihuahua, and named him Geronimo. He stood up to any dog, no matter how tall. He filled the emptiness that Scampy left.

What about you...dog or cat? Do you have a preference? What was your favorite pet as a child?
I am glad you got Geronimo, but I was heartbroken abut Scampy :( Duke and Dolly look a mischievous pair! Kalla looks really unusual, I am wondering if she is a Patagonian breed?
ReplyDeleteI love cats and dogs, Jar, and all animals, but only have cats at present as work takes me out of the house for 11-12 hours at a time and it wouldn't be fair on a dog!
I never did find out what breed she was. Yep, that's why we have cats now...we are a very busy family, and it wouldn't be fair to the dogs. Cats are easy care creatures. Thanks for stopping by, Joanna!
DeleteThanks for stopping by my blog! I had a dog once, my little brothers scared it away :(
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome, Priscilla...sorry about your dog! Brothers, unfortunately, can be that way, sometimes. Enjoy the challenge!
DeleteDuke and Dolly are my constant companions! Dogs can make brighten the darkest day!
ReplyDeleteAmen to that, Specks...and D&D do a great job of it! Thanks for stopping by to comment...

Thanks, Debbie...yes, they both have their virtues and vices. I appreciate your visit and comments!
DeleteAw, we had quite a few dogs as a kid, but my sister's dog sounds a little like your Geronimo. Peck, a little tiny terrier jumped into the Colorado River where my dad was swimming to "rescue" him. Dad ended up having to swim out and save the dog when he got caught in a current!
ReplyDeleteNow that is a heroic dog, Chautona! Thanks for your story...and your visit. Enjoy the challenge!
